Oct 02, 2011. Mongolia national parks tour As to my stay in Mongolia, I had a fabulous time and the tours definitely exceeded my expectations. Ulziisaikhan did a superb job with the itinerary. From the time he and the driver picked me up alongside the train to when I was dropped off at the railway station I always felt that I was in good hands. Ulziisaikhan was not only incredibly knowledgeable and a walking Mongolia history book, but he was also entertaining, funny, and a good travel companion. I have had so many people ask for pictures (and as your guide knows, I took a lot) that I am currently building a website of the entire trip and it will feature my time in Mongolia because it was the most memorable. I will also recommend Selena to anyone desiring to do a similar trip. You have a very professionally managed organization and take wonderful care of your clients. Mongolia was definitely the highlight of my three country trip and I will have fond memories of my trip for the rest of my life. I should also add that the driver did a great job too. We covered a lot of miles together and he was safe and very accommodating regarding my requests to stop for pictures, etc. We didn not have much time for shopping so I was glad that we made the stop at the cashmere shop. I purchased 6 scarves that have been very well received by the recipients. Exceptionally soft and high quality. Better than any I have seen in the U.S. They were also very easy to carry since I did nothave much extra space. I traveled with 2 backpacks this time plus a camera bag so I didn t have any room for any large purchases. For gifts for the children, I took several finger puppet animals I bought on ebay. The children we gave them too were all very happy. I enjoyed meeting the Mongolian families. Finally, your choice for a hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was nice and clean, the staff pleasant, and wi-fi was always available. It was also well-located. I took walks in the evening to the pizza parlor, etc. I would be glad to put the above in your form if you like. Dont know why I couldn t open it.

Jul 12, 2007. Beijing Highlights and Naadam Festival tour How can we praise you enough for the fantastic trip that you arranged for us? We were expecting to have a wonderful time but everything exceeded our expectations. We had the time of our lives.....both Glenn and I enjoyed every minute of every adventure. We were so happy to get to share the Naadam Festival with you. You were great to take us to all the events and spend the time with us. It was such a great experience that we'll never forget. Jun 15, 2011. Horse Trekking from Tuul to Kherlen Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time during the trip. It was a very good horse trekking tour of getting a taste of the nomads' lifestyle, the Mongolian horses, the horse rides and the beautiful landscape. Complemented by the close attention given by Dorjo the tour guide, the horseman, the medical student cook and the retired army leutenant driver, I left Mongolia fully satisfied. Terelj National Park was simply stunning, Gun-Galuut a sunset was captivating. The refreshing air was filled with nothing but sounds of bird chirping, horses galloping and sheep baaing. Patches of the green land were flooded with arrays of colorful flowers. To describe the enjoyment of the trip and the beauty of Mongolia in such a short passage does not do justice to Chinggis Khan's homeland. The next best thing is to share my precious photos with others in order to feel my experience. Hope to return to the Land of blue skies soon.

May 15, 2007. Horse Trekking from Tuul to Kherlen Just a note to thank you for the best trip ever. Mongolia horse trips offer a special blend of adventure and a view to a way of life not found anywhere else. However the biggest thing was the people from Selena we went with. They could not have been better, tears from laughing too much at dinner and tears at the airport leaving these wonderful people. Can’t guarantee every Selena team will be like ours but Enkhmunkh, Erdenebat, Usukhbayer, and Enkhmunkh, the best ever.

Horse Trekking from Tuul to Kherlen I have been back from Mongolia for a month and have spent so much time looking through the photographs again and again… My friend, Leng, and myself really want to thank Selena Travel for giving us such memorable experiences. Before we set off to Mongolia, all our friends ask us: "What is there to see in Mongolia except grass? How can horse riding be fun except whole day on a horse?" Well, after returning from our trip, we shared our photos and experiences with them in complete satisfaction. Our tour guide (Dorjoo), the driver and horseman were all so friendly, dedicated and responsible. This is our first horse riding trip and they guided us so well that we were so comfortable and carefree with our horses just after half day of riding. Throughout the horse riding journey, we chitchat and enjoyed beautiful sceneries as the horse trotted through the grassland; many times we get adventurous and we galloped for a distance. We simply fell in love galloping on horseback…. and the staffs were always just beside me to ensure our safety. We really had an awesome time in Mongolia. Even overnight in the wild land, sleeping in tent, telling stories and joking under the starry skies is a memory that is so unforgettable to us. We will definitely recommend this Mongolia Horse Riding trip to all my friends…. It’s a different experience of a lifetime. We not only missed the vast grassland and Mongolian horses, but also the nature, mountains, lakes, fresh air, and amazing people from Selena Travel.

Jul 07, 2007. Great Naadam Festival tour Wondering where you should go for your next trip? I would recommend Mongolia. WHY??? I had such a great and unique travel experience throughout my stay in this beautiful country. Whether it was visiting the nomads, attending the Naadam Festival, traversing the sweeping landscapes, experiencing its culture, learning its fascinating history, watching wildlife, or riding a yak, the trip captures the essence of Mongolia. Meeting the nomads was such a great way to learn about their way of living in such an authentic and intimate manner. I had developed a deep appreciation of their resilience, tenacity and ingenuity in living with nature. As well, I was very much taken by their hospitality. You have a stunning land, so coloured, so romantic, in spite of the so bumpy roads, I am crazy about the combinations of the varied landscapes, the open steppes, the so touchable people, the melodies and animals and flowers that were greeting us all over. Every day of the journey was like a magic for me and I know for sure that it is only the first time and I will come again.
