Gun-Galuut is a marvellous combination of open steppes, steppe hills, lovely lakes and amazing landscape. We have protected the Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve as its home for the endangered wild mountain sheep Argali and some other rare species of birds. The beautiful wild sheep Argali inhabit the stunning mountains of Baits and Berkh with other wild animals. The herds have more than 80 Argali and give a big chance for the nature lovers to view these fantastic animals from the closest distance and take photos.
We involve the locals to the conservation process by encouraging their alternative income from responsible tourism like renting horse, yak and camels to tourists; offer their handcrafts and their ger for home stay. Proceeds from this tour go directly to the Argali Sheep conservation activities in Mongolia.
