Chengdu is one of the biggest cities of China after Shanghai and Beijing with 16 million population and everyone knows that the city is famous with its’ cute Giant Pandas. We landed in Chengdu first time in the late evening of Sep 13 to participate next annual PATA trade mart. First impression was great, it looks like a big and modern city.
The next thing is to find our bus provided by PATA to pick up us at the airport and anyway, we found and met with friendly volunteers and they helped us to get to bus. If we didn’t meet with them, we don’t know where to find the bus as anyone of locals can’t speak English.
Selena Travel Mongolia participated for PATA Travel Mart in 3rd time which was held in Chengdu, China from Sep 15 – 17, 2013 at Century City New International Convention & Exhibition center.
PTM2013 attracted some 77 media, 550 seller and 473 buyer delegates with over 10,000 business appointments conducted over the two days. Average of 40% first time sellers and 25% first time buyers to this year’s Mart. The 220 trade visitors kept the exhibition hall bustling with added business discussions and activities.
Our managing director Nyamsuren, sales & marketing director Zolzaya. and travel consultant Bolortsetseg successfully presented the company and the country at the 36th PATA Travel Mart 2013.
Except from Singaporeans and some other Asian counties believed that Mongolia is Inner Mongolia and we speak Chinese, these 2 days has successfully finished with full of meetings with many fruitful meetings and upcoming cooperation.
Our company representatives proved that Mongolia is an emerging travel destination of Asia Pacific and showed how Mongolian tourism has been developed and how well qualified Mongolian tourism professionals are.
