Generally speaking, Mongolian women have been playing a crucial role in the family, society and country ever since the establishment of the nation to the present. They are physically, spiritually and mentally strong due to the traditional way of life in the countryside, and the historical path Mongolians took in the past. When you visit Mongolia, you will see the presence of Mongolia’s smart yet beautiful women in every field including business, politics, arts and culture, hospitality industry and so on.
Here, we would like to share about one of the most recent success of Mongolian woman during the 66th Miss World which took place in Maryland, USA, from November 29 to December 18, 2016.
Mongolian beauty pageant Bayartsetseg Altangerel received the People’s Choice Award and became one of the top 11 contestants of the event. Bayartsesteg also won the Miss Talent award for her magic trick and calligraphy performance at the grand finale.
After successfully competing in Miss Earth 2016, A.Bayartsetseg was selected as one of the top 16 contestants for the 66th Miss World competition. She won a medal in a cooking challenge, was named Miss Photogenic, and won the evening gown and cocktail wear competitions of the international pageant.
A.Bayartsetseg graduated from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology’s School of Business Administration and Humanities and also holds a degree from Mancosa Management College in South Africa. She speaks English and Spanish.
