How to get there:
In the morning of 17 September a shuttle bus departs to Steppe Nomads camp at 07.30 and returns on 18 September at 20.00. The bus ticket price will be around 15-25 USD per ticket.
As the seats are limited, please book your bus ticket earlier.
Or, you can drive at your leisure and come to our show. The road is relatively good, 117km paved and 13km on good earth track.

The camp in the Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve is 130 km from Ulaanbaatar to the east. It is only 2 hour drive (113 km on paved road, 17 km on dirt road).

Accommodation capacity:

"Steppe Nomads" Tourist camp: The camp hosts up to guests at a time and 20 Gers. Early bookings are required as our cozy and soft beds' availability is limited with max 65 beds.

Nomadic family stay: Participants can stay in the traditional Mongolian dwelling - Ger, just next to the nomadic families. The local community will prepare 5 separate Gers for tourists. Some of the Gers will have 2-3 beds and some will not have any bed. Early birds will get the comfort.
By staying with nomads, you will have opportunity to experience the activities by themselves, like going to collect herds, milking cow with hosts early in the morning.

Tenting: Couples, adventurers and nature lovers can rent a tent from us at 10US$/per day and camp in the beautiful nature of the reserve. Quite and peaceful environment will be ideal for relaxing.

Food & beverage:
The chef of the Steppe Nomads camp will prepare all your desired meals, from European to traditional Mongolian at your request /excluding dinner of 18 Sep/.
No worries for vegetarians, the kind chef won't forget you, there'll be plenty for you to enjoy.
Drink choice is excellent from all kinds of beverages to traditional nomadic drinks such as mare's fermented milk, milk vodka, milk, fresh yoghurt etc…

Also you can enjoy the western and traditional music while having a drink at our beer garden on the shore of the river Kherlen.

Ticket:
"The Nomads Day" a 2day festival - 60 US$ per tourist and 1 day festival - 30 US$ per tourist.
Included: English speaking narrator of each activity, a leaflet of the show.
The Nature Reserve Entrance fee 3000 MNT is paid separately directly to the park ranger.

A group leader is free for the group of 15 PAX
Tour operators: 10 % discount for 20 tourists from a tour operator, organization and company.
20 % discount for 40 tourists from a tour operator, organization and company.
