The Nomads' Day festival
The Nomads Day Festival starts on the 17th of September - the most blessed day of the Mongolian nomads, in Gun-Galuut Nature Reserve of Mongolia. This is one of the most exciting cultural festivals of Mongolia and is the only eveny revives the traditional Mongolian nomadic culture and contributes a great fo this unique culture heritage, Therefore, this event was approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Mongolia as an official tourism even and hold annually.
DATE: "The Nomads Day" Festival is annually held on 17-18 September
VENUE: This wonderful festival takes place at "Steppe Nomads" tourist camp in the land of the rarewildlife "Gun-Galuut" nature reserve in the Bayandelger sum of Tuv province. The Reserve is 130 km to from Ulaanbaatar in the south east. View the map here

DAY 1. 17 SEPTEMBER 2014, TUESDAY;
As the Nomads' Day Festival is an official tourism event of mongolia, represantaives from the Ministry of Road, Transport and Tourism of Mongolia, Governor Office of Tuv Province and Governor of Bayandelger sum as well as Selena Travel officials take part in the fantastic event. Represantatives give addresses and open the event. Domestic and international media delegates also take part to report the festival.
